DIFFICULT EMOTIONS
BEING LOST
If you are going through an important transition in your life and the change involved is becoming overly complex to manage, I can help. In my healing process I had to figure out how to deal with a pretty heavy load of complexity. Picture this: by the age of 11 I had changed 3 countries, gone through 5 cities, 6 schools, 2 languages, had lost 4 close members of my family, and was now facing physical and psychological abuse from a step-mother. Today, at 50, I own all these changes, and the tools and methods I use to heal and become successful, are something I think will help you too.
The science of emotions sheds light on the underlying reasons of emotional disturbances yet this alone does not tell us how to cope or deal with them. For decades I suffered from heavy depression, general anxiety and suicidal thoughts, and practically all my relationships suffered from it. For the most part I and those around me were completely unaware of it and so on the surface everything looked normal, but today, in hindsight, things were very very abnormal. If you struggling emotionally, particularly with depression, anxiety, or addiction, I can help. Healing from burdening moods takes a lot of kindness and patience with oneself, and of that I have plenty to share.
TRAUMA EXPERIENCES
BEING LOST
If you are suffering from depression, unexplainable impulsive behaviours or deteriorating relationships, chances are you are suffering from trauma related PTSD that has never been properly acknowledged. Having been the subject of several major traumas in early childhood myself, trauma has become a major focus on my psychological work for over half a decade now. With all the experience I have now, I can reassure you that the process of healing with me is most often not painful at all. To the contrary, you'll love to gain all the insights and knowledge that you'll find along the way.
If you are an outsider then we have at least one thing in common. Families, cultures and nations, have always produced outsiders, only to then ostracise, repress, punish, accuse, scape-goat, lie to, and even exile them. These processes are as normal as the 'norm' itself is, yet only very rarely will a family, community, or nation admit to it and make amends. As an outsider one needs to first learn to live well on the fringe. Only then a pathway back to your own inner home can be opened. With extensive experience on the fringes, I feel confident that I will find a way to make you feel at home on this Earth, whatever your quirkiness.
